Have you felt a surge of inspiration watching greatness play out on the baseball field or tennis court? Have you run the race of your life and in the end felt like you were flying? Rose from your yoga mat and felt renewed? If you wish you could bottle up that energy and share it with others, this workshop is for you. You will learn how to write with a new acuity about the active body and/or athletics in this workshop. You will be introduced to new active literature luminaries such as Krystal Languell, Andrew Forbes, Shakeia Taylor, and more. We will use creative exercises to inspire you to produce your best embodied work. Please feel free to bring 1-2 poems related to the topic for critique. Suggest for where to send this type of writing will also be given.

Class meets online Thursday, September 26, 6 – 7:30 pm Central. A link to join the session will be sent 24-hours prior.

Class size: Maximum 18. Minimum 5.
