Let’s take a tip from Mary Oliver and bring our pens and notebooks on a nature walk! We will share some nature poetry (bring a favorite poem along with you!) and take a walk through the natural beauty of Write On’s property. We’ll then do some writing and have a discussion on the subject of nature in poetry. We’ll discuss ways to carry poetry beyond the realm of mere observation, anchoring it to personal and/or general human experience.
Class meets in person both indoors and outside, Saturday, May 20, 9:30 – 11:30 am.
