We experience what Joseph Campbell calls “the rapture of being alive” when we allow the fullness of joy and sorrow to enter our consciousness. As poets, writing from the whole self, going about the business of our daily lives, is where our deepest power lies. In our hours together, we will look at exemplary poems and being new poems of our own. We will begin where we are.
Class meets in person, Monday – Friday, May 20 – 24, 9 am – noon.
Class size: Maximum 12. Minimum 5.
