FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 3 – 5!
In this workshop, we’ll explore the process of creating a picture book concentrating on characters, setting, and creating tension. We’ll examine pacing, layout, and page breaks. We’ll discuss visuals and how they work with the text. We’ll also explore the beautiful grounds of Write On, Door County to see what new ideas we generate. Then we’ll take all this and provide an opportunity for you to create your own story. Come ready to write, to learn new things, and to have fun.
