Door County Reads: Writing Hometown Stories

Write On is proud to be a partnering organization of Door County Reads. This year’s selected book is Raft of Stars by Andrew J. Graff. Set in the fictional small town of Claypot, Wisconsin, the novel follows the stories of two ten-year-old boys and four adults. We’ll use Claypot as the inspiration for our program, Writing Hometown Stories. What were the stories of your hometown? What memories do you hold of the place where you grew up? Come explore those memories in a free and nonjudgemental creative lab led by Write On’s Founding and Artistic Director, Jerod Santek.
