Discover Your Stories Within: An Introspective Workshop with Jan Cosmos and Jesse Coffman-Riewe

Jesse Coffman-Riewe and Jan Cosmos met during a Write On, Door County retreat and have since collaborated on a film together, The Cave. Join Jesse and Jan for a lively journey into your intuitive mind. Together, participants and teaching artists will collaborate to deconstruct a short film about Encounter, Transformation, and the Flaring Forth of Making New. We'll analyze the film's principal character, Freeway, as she struggles to change her life. Through group discussion about her path to transformation, we'll discover the bits and pieces of her story that relate to us as well. Through the process, your own stories within will burst forth into your consciousness.

This program is free but registration is required as space is limited.

Jan Cosmos is a short film creator, videographer, and editor. She has an M.A. in Anthropology from Loyola University and is a visiting scholar at Northwestern University with a focus on visual arts for education.

Jesse Coffman-Riewe is an RN, BSN, and certified trauma informed health coach. She is also a speaker, poet and small group facilitator. She portrays Freeway in the film The Cave.
