MINT TEA AND SUGAR: TASTE OF MEMORY with Karolina Letunova
In this generative two-hour workshop, we’ll use our sensory memory to prompt new writing. We’ll read examples of contemporary flash prose and the Japanese form of zuihitsu for short forms we can use. Using sensory prompts, we’ll write a lot! To close, we’ll discuss fiction versus nonfiction and how to build a longer work from shorter pieces. Come prepared with a notebook or laptop. Novice and experienced writers of all genres are welcome.
Tuition for the two-hour workshop is $20.00. Write On members receive a 10% discount. To become a member and save, please click here.
