PUBLICATION CELEBRATION: A Home for Hattie by Anne Emerson

Write On invites you to celebrate the holidays and the publication of of Anne Emerson’s new book, A Home for Hattie. In her new picture book, Anne Emerson tells the loving story of a search for a home for Hattie, and 11-year-old Labradoodle. Join Anne for this free event celebrating the publication, on Wednesday, December 11, 4 – 6 pm, with a short presentation at 4:30 pm. Refreshments will be served and copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. All ages are very welcome! A portion of the proceeds from book sales at this event will support Write On’s programming for the youth and elders of Door County.

About the author:

Anne Haberland Emerson studied in the humanities department at Lawrence University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has been recognized in her Door County, Wisconsin, community for her work promoting creativity in education and lifelong learning. She helped start Edgewood Orchard Galleries in 1969, Friend of Gibraltar in 1982, Door Coummunity Auditorium in 1991, and Write On, Door County in 2013. She lives in Fish Creek, Wisconsin, year-round surrounded by family, dogs, beauty, and yes, creativity!
