Creating a Business Plan for Writers with Valerie Clarizio

Does the thought of writing a business plan make you wince? No worries. I got you! If you want to turn your passion for writing into a business, you’ll need a strategic business plan in place. Business plans are valuable documents to assist writers in setting, tracking, and learning from goals. It is a reference document used to measure outcomes and, in a sense, is a living and breathing document as goals and objectives evolve with time. Now is the time to get started, to get the most of our your writing career. In this course, you’ll learn how to create a plan and use that plan to develop your writing business. You’ll also learn how to measure the results and adjust the plan as you go.

Class meets Thursday, October 5, 6 – 7:30 pm Central Time.

Teaching Artist: Val Clarizio is a USA Today best selling author and creator of The Nick Spinelli Mystery series, the Love on the Door County Peninsula series, the Crime and Passion Stalk City Hal series, and The Preserver & Protector series, as well as several stand-alone mystery and romance novels. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business and works as the Finance Director for the City of Sturgeon Bay.
