Many people have stories to tell about illness, whether it’s visible or invisible, chronic or an era in their lives. Jumi Bello will introduce participants to various writers, both living and dead, who write on the notions of illness and the different forms they’ve embodied in expressing their experience. She will then guide participants in writing exercises about their health experiences.
This session is offered free as a service to the community, but registration is required as space is limited.
Teaching Artist: Jumi Bello is a fiction writer from the Washington, DC, suburbs.
