Can one ever get over wildflowers, irises, and fluttering birch? I felt my mind unwind within an hour of arriving and have been truly awakened by the flowers, trees, birds, and stars at night. I have written new poems and a performance piece for a constitutional cabaret in Appleton. I love the night of music and poetry and the feeling of community at the Tambourine Lounge in Sturgeon Bay. I was honored to read my poem at the transcendent Midsummer’s Music concert in Ephraim, and relisted the synergy of bringing together teachers and poets for my workshop.
Thank you, Write On, and Jerod for a fabulous week of writing while nestled in the arms of nature.
