What an amazing gift this week has been. I arrived frazzled and scattered and leave feeling peaceful and centered. Having this uninterrupted time to put my writing (and myself) first was just what I needed right now. I leave committed to making time in my lousy everyday life for my novel and my characters, who seem more human by the day. I will treasure my memories of the solitude of “my” room — the hours spent writing, reading, cooking, walking among the birches, staying up late for more writing and waking up early to think and write again. I hope to be back! Oh, and I loved my “wine seminar” with Jane! Thank you!!
