Judith Padow holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a JD from Rutgers Law School. Her essays have been published in Solstice Literary Magazine: A Magazine of Diverse Voices, Boulevard, Brevity, and SLAB: Sound, Literary & Art Book. She was awarded a scholarship to the Yucatan Writers Conference as well as the Tin House winter nonfiction workshop. Before becoming a writer and lawyer, Judith was a dancer and choreographer, and received numerous grants and fellowships including from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Creative Artist Public Service Program. She is working on a memoir of the years she was involved in dance and the New York City art scene.
