Do you have funny personal stories you’ve been wanting to share? Do you want to write a hilarious polemic on the latest dance craze, your favorite movie, or the 75 reasons to love candy corn? Maybe you’re just looking to add some humor to your writing. In this session, we’ll take an in-depth look at various forms of personal funny essays and provide tips to turn up the funny in your writing. You’ll do some humor writing of your own and we’ll read some great stuff too — essays, articles, op-eds, and more to help you find inspiration for your work!
