A monthly book club discussing works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that have the Great Lakes as a setting or as subject matter. This month’s selection is The Making of Pioneer Wisconsin: Voices of Early Settlers by Michael E. Stevens. From the mid-1830s through the 1850s, more than a half million people settled in Wisconsin.
