An event every 2 weeks that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating until Thursday, July 23, 2020
Want feedback on writing you are doing during our collective quarantine? Why not join Write On’s writers’ virtual critique group, meeting via Zoom?
The ground rules are simple: send the group something you’ve written for which you’d like constructive criticism (or send a short piece of what you consider excellent writing by a published author) and the group will read the piece prior to the Zoom meeting and offer comments during the meeting. We will be reading and commenting on each other’s submissions..
All levels of experience and genres welcome—poetry, fiction, and nonfiction—but please keep the pieces brief. Submissions should be five pages or fewer.
Paul Brophy, a seasonal resident of Egg Harbor, curates the process and meetings. Paul has a long career in professional writing ,which he’s converted to writing creative nonfiction and memoirs since 2018. He is a member of other writers’ critique groups in Maryland. If interested, please contact Paul and label your email “Write On Critique Group.”
Group will meet on Thursdays at 6 central. Paul will provide call in information to those who join. First meeting is Thursday, April 16 at 6:00 pm. Group will meet bi-weekly and will continue as long as there is interest.
