Calling all storytellers! Wild Words celebrates Door County’s land and water through a combination of images and words. Share your photos of beloved sites around the peninsula and tell what is special about them in less than 7 minutes. It’s a fast, fun-filled night dedicated to the place we love to call home!
Write On and Door County Land Trust present a series of free creative labs to help interested storytellers prepare a presentation. These sessions will offer advice both on writing and technical support. Labs will consist of approximately 60 minutes of group instruction and 30 minutes of one-on-one assistance. Ten storytellers will be selected to present at Wild Words on Earth Day, Monday, April 22, 7 – 9 pm at Crossroads at Big Creek.
All ages are welcome! Students are especially encouraged to take part! Labs are free but registration is strongly encouraged. Register by calling 920-868-1457 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This program is a collaborative project of Crossroads at Big Creek, Door County Land Trust, and Write On, Door County, presented as part of Celebrate Water Door County, a program of Healthy Water Initiative and the Door County Community Foundation.
