VIRTUAL POETRY READING: Halfway to the North Pole
November 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The Dickinson Poetry Series of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and Write On celebrate the new Door County poetry anthology
HALFWAY TO THE NORTH POLE
What better way to spend a Wednesday evening in mid-November than to listen to poetry by poets from around the county and beyond? Come celebrate the newest anthology from The Door County Poets Collective, Halfway to the North Pole, with a virtual poetry reading as part of the Dickinson Poetry Series, held monthly on the second Wednesday. Grab your favorite beverage, settle in a comfy chair and listen to poets share their “behind the scenes” poems of Door County’s geology, geography, history, flora/fauna and island culture.
Scheduled readers include David Clowers, Karl Elder, Kathleen Harris, Donna Johnson, Deb Johnston, Lee LeVoy, Sandra Lindow, Baptiste Paul, Kathleen Phillips, Kathleen Serley, Christine Swanberg, Susan Twiggs, Lauren Bremer Ward, Tori Grant Wellhouse, Karen Wilson, and Marilyn Zelke Windau.
This reading is presented free but registration is required. This reading is appropriate for all ages and makes for a great family night activity!
