Sand Beach Press partners with Write On to celebrate the release of Beauty in Simplicity, a new book by Virginia Jones Maher. Maher will discuss the writing of the book and will read short excerpts in a short program, followed by a light reception in her honor.
The book pairs stunning photographs of pottery from the Arts and Crafts movement of the 1880s-1920s with quotations from artists of that era. The result is a lovely art book that captures the simple and the sublime.
Sand Beach Press, a Baileys Harbor publisher is co-hosting this event. The book will be available for purchase and the author will sign books.
