Find inspiration and critical feedback on your poetry

ADVANCED POETRY MASTER CLASS WITH MARK WUNDERLICH

In this four-week course, participants will be introduced to a number of strategies for getting poems started and keeping them going.  You will receive a weekly assignment meant to revivify your writing practice and push your poems in surprising ways. Once a week, we will meet virtually and discuss your poems as a group, with the goal of creating a clear path toward revision of the work.  The workshop is intended to be supportive, critically acute, and humane, while also providing new critical frameworks for better understanding, developing and refining one’s own poems.

All workshop sessions will be conducted remotely via Zoom. The class is intended for people with experience writing poetry and taking part in poetry workshops. Cost for this 4-week master class is $200. Write On members receive a 10% discount. To become a member, please click here.

Class is by application and is limited to 10 students. To apply for this workshop, please email up to three poems to Artistic Director Jerod Santek by January 30, 2021. Early applications are strongly encouraged. Once accepted, you will receive a link to register.
