Creativity Camp for Young Writers 8 – 12
Have you ever wanted to write your own picture book? Join us for a week of fun and writing with the amazing John Coy!
We will discuss character, setting, and plot. We’ll write first drafts, revisions, and practice dialogue. We will spend the majority of our time outdoors thinking, writing, and moving. Indoor time will be limited and masks required. Come prepared to write, have a good time, and make new friends!
Camp runs July 12th – 16th, 1 – 4 pm. Tuition for the camp is $150. Early Bird Discount: Register by April 1 by clicking the button below and registration is $140. John Coy is the author of young adult novels, the 4 for 4 middle-grade series, and nonfiction and fiction picture books including Night Driving, Two Old Potatoes and Me, and Hoop Genius. John visits schools and libraries around the world discussing the process of creating a book, working with students and adults on writing, and answering all kinds of questions.
