An event every 2 days that begins at 9:00am, repeating until Friday, October 16, 2020
If you grew up in a small town you have memories that encompass the geography, the streets, the trees, perhaps even a river that might have flowed through that space you once called home. In addition to the physical space, that small town was filled with characters: perhaps the local baker, if long ago a shoe maker, perhaps a diner or a bar, and the people who worked in those places. There might have been a landmark lover’s lane or special hill or outcropping of rock, all with a story to tell. Small towns give birth to story and story to memory. We will explore those stories, write or tell those stories during our time together. Small towns are places where stories thrive and plots thicken.
Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, October 12, 14, and 16, 9 am – noon. A possible field trip Tuesday or Thursday may be included. Registration for the class is $140. To register online, please click here. For other registration options, please call 920.868.1457.
