Inspired by Kao Kalia Yang's memoir The Latehomecomer, the 2018 Door County Reads selection, Write On offers several opportunities for members of our community to begin their own memoirs. Yang called her book a 'love letter' to her grandmother, whose spirit held their family together. These free, 90-minute sessions will help you start your own 'love letter' to your family. International Mother Language Day Reading

A SAND COUNTY ALMANAC PROGRESSIVE MARATHON READING

Write On, The Clearing Folk School, Crossroads at Big Creek, Door County Land Trust, and The Ridges Sanctuary join together to celebrate Aldo Leopold weekend with a progressive marathon reading of his classic essay collection A Sand County Almanac. ART/SPEAKS: A Free Writing Lab
