Join Write On, the Door County Land Trust, and Crossroads in a night of storytelling about the natural treasures of Door County! Using Pecha Kucha, a Japanese form of storytelling that combines images and words, participants are encouraged to share stories about their favorite places in nature and their relationship to the earth. Slides of images you have gathered will be shown as you share your story, essay, or poem about what you treasure about Door County. All ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Participants in the first annual Door County Treasure Hunt are especially encouraged to take part and share the images and stories from their day discovering the treasures of northern Door County.
This program is a collaborative project of Crossroads at Big Creek, Door County Land Trust, and Write On, Door County. The program is free and open to the public. Join us for light refreshments and the chance to talk with our storytellers after the program. For more information on how to create a pecha kucha, please call Write On at 920-868-1457 or the Land Trust at 920-746-1359.
