The Sign Fairy has been spreading good thoughts! Take a ride on the Door County Trolley to visit the Sign Fairy, a woman whose challenges in her own life inspired her to put up a sign that would spread good energy to those near and far. We’ll visit her studio and hear her story and create our own sign fairy signs. Get ready for a magical amount of fun!
Recommended for children in 3rd through 5th grades. Bring a lunch; cookies and lemonade are provided. Parental guardians or chaperones are welcome and do not have to purchase their own ticket for the class.

Since graduating in Art From UW-Madison, Jill Harding has been interested in combining the written word with visual images. She received her Master Degree in Education and taught in the Green Bay Public Schools for 20 years as a classroom teacher and as a Gifted Student Advocate. Jill currently lives on the north end of the Door County peninsula. She enjoys hiking through the woods and along the shoreline, and traveling the country with her husband, Michael. Dee Paulsen has a B.S. in Elementary/Special Education from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and an M.S. in Education with an emphasis on children’s literature from Viterbo College. She taught language arts and math for 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades and has a passion for writing, reading, and sharing stories.
