Write On is pleased to collaborate with Peninsula Music Festival on the final performance of Feb Fest III, a concert of Scandinavian music inspired by the novels of Kathleen Ernst. The program features the works of Carl Nielsen, Edvard Grieg, Franz Berwald, and Jean Sibelius performed by Janet Sutter (violin), Karen Nelson (violin and viola), Lori Meyer (cello), and Judith Jackson (piano). Kathleen Ernst will read excerpts from her work and will sign books.
Kathleen Ernst is the award-winning author of 33 books, including the Chloe Ellefson Historic Sites mystery series. Set in Door County, the third book in the series, The Light Keeper’s Legacy, received the LOVEY Best Traditional Mystery Award. The sixth book, Death on the Prairie, was released last October. For more than a decade, Kathleen worked as an educator and curator for the State Historical Society of Wisconsin and another decade scripting and producing instructional television series for the Wisconsin Education Communications Board/Wisconsin Public Television.
