An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until Friday, June 15, 2018
In August, 2017, David Henderson participated in our annual writing and yoga retreat. Inspired by the program and the community he discovered at Write On, David wanted to give something back to encourage others to writer. This June, David will present A View to the Future: Personal Stories, Metaphors, and Patterns, as a gift to our community.
In this experimental workshop, people will create and write stories about their potential futures, using elements from past and desired behavior. Stories can shape our lives, depending on the arc of the story and our intended climax. Using family stories, metaphors, and patterns of behavior, participants will discover and write stories about their desired futures. There will be ample time for storytelling and discussion.
David is a psychotherapist, educator, and consultant. His interests are wide, with a focus on organizational culture, human conflict, education, and systems change. He currently teaches a graduate course in professional consulting for Alverno College in Milwaukee.
The class consists of two sessions Thursday, June 14, and Friday, June 15, 9 am – 4 pm. Lunch and light refreshments are provided. This program is offered free (donations are gratefully accepted) but registration is required and space is limited to ten participants. To register online click here, or call 920-868-1457.
